Casa de Oro is a stunning beachfront villa in Troncones, Mexico, known for its laid-back luxury and oceanfront serenity. But while the experience on-site was five-star, the website wasn’t keeping up. It was dated, hard to navigate, and lacked mobile responsiveness—causing them to miss out on direct bookings and lose guests to third-party platforms.

As a freelance web designer and developer, I partnered with the owners to reimagine their travel website from the ground up—focusing on guest experience, high-impact visuals, and seamless integration with tools like AirBnB and VRBO.

The original website failed to reflect the charm and premium service of the villa. Specifically:

• It lacked a modern, mobile-responsive design
• Visitors had no clear way to view real-time availability
• There was no cohesive visual story or sense of immersion
